Job Description

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Assist with processing invoices and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for review by management.
  • Help monitor budgets and track expenditure across various departments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial queries.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as required.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in working with SAGE line 50 accounts
  • Experience in Sage Line 50 Payroll
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Word ) essential
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
