Job Description

As Finance Analyst, your duties will include:* Financial and statistical analysis of performance data, to assist with strategic business decision making
* Involvement in the production of regular corporate reporting
* Proactively support month end accounting process by analysing, reviewing and investigating actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year
* Provide timely ongoing revenue/cost trends by analysis of appropriate data
* Assist in the production of monthly operational forecast, including in depth liaison with other departments
* Assisting in annual budget setting and work centre analysis
* Provide regular reporting and insights to management on business performance
* Ad hoc support to wider finance and operational team

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Finance Analyst' should have:

  • A background in Finance, happy to consider QBE as well as qual accountants
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical software and financial databases.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
