Seeking a diligent Finance Analyst who will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing financial reports and assisting in budget preparation in the Accounting & Finance Department.
  • Finance Analyst required on a permanent basis.
  • This role is office based in Telford.

Job Description

  • Produce set of business performance analysis on periodical base by using business intelligent tools in conjunction with SAP.
  • Monitoring the various from actual performance against budget and plan.
  • Experience of balance sheet reconciliation
  • Maintain and control the clearance accounts like: GRNI, TO be invoiced etc.
  • Monitoring the cost various on the cost centre. Be able to eliminate the Data error and story telling on the various to budget combining with business knowledge
  • Support with external audits (Financial, Quality, Customer)
  • Support all managers and employees with retrieving and understanding information readily available to them and providing further information requested
  • Support forecasting and variance analysis to budgets throughout the business
  • Identify and investigate areas to improve company profitability

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
  • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
