Job Description

  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients across various industries.
  • Ensuring all audits are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of auditors.
  • Providing expert advice to clients on audit and financial matters.
  • Working closely with other department managers to improve audit processes.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Contributing to the firm's business development activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Audit Manager' should have:

  • A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance, ACA or ACCA.
  • Proven experience in managing audits and a team of auditors.
  • Excellent understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
