With a robust presence in South Wales, operating out of a state of the art manufacturing facility, their commitment to innovation and quality sets them apart in their industry.Job DescriptionOversee the day-to-day operations of the export department to deliver the KPI's for the department and ensure a full service to the customer.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export documentation, Incoterms, sanctions and customs requirements.Stay up to date on changes in customs regulations and trade policies and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Identify potential risks within the logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies.Develop and lead the team to a continuous improvement culture, which includes a methodical system of managing and analysing performance and delivery issues.Lead the ownership of data management to ensure that the records and other data are always up to date and accurate, amongst other things, that there are zero errors in the dispatch process.Ensure that the site daily delivery performance is maintained at its target levels, and that requisite documentation and material supplies are in place to avoid unnecessary delays to customer deliveries.To ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard Work (SW) are in place for all activities of the team. Ensure that all personnel adhere to the SOP and SW and ensure that there is a training plan to these standards ensuring cross functional flexibility in the team.The Successful ApplicantA successful Export Logistics Leader should have:A degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
