They have multiple UK manufacturing sites and supply a diverse range of high quality products and services to a wide range of customers.Job DescriptionThe Engineering Manager will form a crucial part of the site Senior Leadership team. They will be responsible for the entire site Engineering function and a team of 25+ engineers and technicians. They will:Oversee the engineering department and manage a complex teamLead and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the departmentEnsure the successful delivery of engineering projects on time and within budgetDevelop and implement strategic plans for the engineering departmentWork closely with other department heads to align engineering strategies with business objectivesEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsManage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgetsDevelop and drive PPM schedules to maximise plant availability and efficiencyThe Successful ApplicantThe successful Engineering Manager will possess a range of the following:An engineering degree or equivalent qualificationProven experience in a similar role within the FMCG sectorDemonstrable Capex management experienceExtensive people management experience including a large team of multi-disciplined engineersStrong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to sustainability and a forward-thinking approachStrong knowledge and experience of continuous improvement methodologiesWhat's on OfferA generous salary and package including car allowance, bonus and competitive pensionOpportunities for career progression and continuous professional developmentA supportive and inclusive work environmentJoin our team in and help us continue to lead the way in our industry.
