Job Description

The Employment Legal Director will join a large team and get involved in a range of work including;

  • Supporting corporate clients on contentious and non-contentious Employment work
  • Being a point of contact for a range of clients including major retailers, sports clubs and manufacturers.
  • Dealing with Tribunal claims.
  • Working closely with the Corporate teams
  • Providing HR support
  • Mentoring junior fee earners.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in employment law and advise clients accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Work towards business development and networking opportunities.
  • Manage a varied workload effectively and efficiently.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Employment Legal Director should have:

  • A solid background in employment law gained from a large law firm
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Likely to be 10 years PQE plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ties to Leeds
