Job Description
- Conduct detailed stock condition surveys across the housing portfolio.
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on survey findings.
- Collaborate with the construction team to prioritise maintenance and improvement tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all survey activities.
- Identify and report any potential risks or issues in the housing stock.
- Assist in the development and updating of maintenance and improvement strategies.
- Liaise with external contractors and stakeholders as required.
- Contribute to the overall mission of providing high-quality, affordable housing.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Stock Condition Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a similar field.
- In-depth knowledge of building construction, building standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with team members and external parties.
- The ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A commitment to contributing positively to the not-for-profit sector.
