Job Description

  1. Implement the website content plan and workflow, updating and improving existing content during the migration process.
  2. Develop a bold new suite of content for the website, collaborating with subject matter experts to upgrade existing content and produce new material, optimized for Google's EEAT.
  3. Work with the Brand Marketing and Communications team to create content that is both emotive and factual, following our storytelling strategy to engage new and existing supporters more deeply.
  4. Promote an immersive storytelling approach in our web content, offering a 'paddle, swim, dive' experience to encourage deeper engagement while rewarding surface-level exploration.
  5. Support the Digital Platforms Manager in managing the website content publication schedule according to our core content strategy.
  6. Create content tailored to different information-seeking behaviors, enhancing readability for a smoother user experience.
  7. Respond to, manage, and implement content requests from across the organization, including landing pages, donation pages, explainer content, and blogs.
  8. Assist subject matter experts in presenting their content engagingly online and approve content as deputized by the Digital Platforms Manager.



The Successful Applicant

  1. Exceptional copywriting skills, with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and compellingly for diverse audiences.
  2. Proficiency in using various content management systems (CMS), such as Drupal.
  3. Understanding of user experience and the website design process.
  4. Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts across different teams and countries to translate complex topics into digestible content.
  5. Knowledge of Google's EEAT and its search quality guidelines.
  6. Capability to design website user journeys.
  7. Experience in implementing A/B tests to enhance content.
  8. Skilled in creating website content publication schedules.
  9. Experience in managing website migrations and developing web content strategies.
