Job Description

  • Leading and managing derivative projects within the banking department
  • This is a major derivative product integration following a merger of 2 business areas.
  • Overseeing front office operations and ensuring optimal performance
  • Implementing project plans and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Coordinating with various teams to achieve project objectives
  • Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Reporting on project progress and performance to senior management
  • Ensuring compliance with industry and company standards

The Successful Applicant

A successful Derivative Project Manager/Lead- Operations/Front Office should have:

  • A strong academic background in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing and leading derivative projects
  • Strong experience working on Front Office driven projects
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking products with a strong preference to derivatives.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent understanding of banking
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
