Job Description

  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Support decision-making by creating detailed reports and dynamic Power BI dashboards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose analytics solutions
  • Maintain data quality and integrity, ensuring accuracy and consistency across sources
  • Use Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and automation tasks
  • Assist in developing and implementing data collection strategies to improve data availability and relevance
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, accessible format
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal data governance policies
  • Provide support in evaluating and improving existing analytics processes for efficiency and scalability

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and visualisation best practices
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis
  • Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A methodical approach with high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices
