Job Description

  • Oversee the management of customs compliance within the supply chain department.
  • Develop and implement strategic compliance plans for import/export activities.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of all relevant customs laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure compliance across the company.
  • Provide training and guidance on customs regulations to team members.
  • Manage audits and inspections for customs compliance.
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
  • Implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Customs Compliance Manager should have:

  • A proven track record within the logistics distribution and supply chain sector
  • Proven experience in a compliance role
  • Strong knowledge of import/export customs regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle audits and inspections.
  • Regularly commutable to Birmingham
