About Our Client

Page Group are supporting a key client on the appointment of a new Customer Service & Export Team Leader at their Leeds based offices. Our client is an industry leading business within the global manufacturing space, and due to recent growth in the business, they are looking for the CS & Export Team Leader to handle manage day to day activities across a team of 6fte

Job Description

  • Provide support, direction and leadership to the Customer Service & Export Team of 6fte
  • Ensure world class service is provided to global B2B Customers via phone, email and customer portal
  • Ensure customer orders are managed from processing through to dispatch, delivery and exportation
  • Manage customer orders in line with contractual SLA's around timescales
  • Take ownership of customer escalations
  • Ensure correct export documentation is completed for customer orders in line with regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with logistics and 3rd party carriers to ensure the smooth movement of customer orders
  • Work closely with purchasing and production to understand stock levels, customer demand, and projected lead times to best manage customer expectations around orders
  • Provide support to global sales teams around product availability and customer support

The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge of export of customer orders
  • Understanding of export documentation
  • Experience managing a customer service function (highly desirable)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
