Job Description

  • Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely payments.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding payment issues professionally.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on aged debt and cash collections.
  • Work closely with the wider accounting and finance team to support month-end processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
  • Assist in implementing improvements to credit control procedures and systems.
  • Support the team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in a credit control or similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
