Job Description

  • Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and provide updates on account statuses.
  • Liaise with internal departments and customers to address queries and disputes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and communications.
  • Assist in the development of credit control policies and procedures.
  • Support the finance team with month-end and year-end processes.
  • Contribute to improving collection rates and reducing aged debts.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in a credit control or similar accounting role.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
