Job Description

  • Managing the timely collection of all customer accounts.
  • Establishing and implementing payment terms with clients.
  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate way.
  • Reviewing and monitoring client account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Processing payments and refunds.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop specific strategies for key accounts.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on collection activities and progress.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
