An exceptional opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a leading industrial and manufacturing organisation, based in Basildon. The role will involve ensuring the company's accounts receivable are controlled effectively.

  • Early start and 4:30pm finish rewarded with a half day on a Friday.

Job Description

  • Credit Control duties including chasing customers via phone and email
  • Liaising with colleagues to resolve customer queries in a timely manner
  • Answer the telephone as required
  • Maintaining a Customer-receipts report with monies due in
  • Utilising Customer portals to resolve queries, obtain Remits and copy SBIs
  • Coding SBIs and Remits ahead of receipt
  • Maintain the SL filing system
  • Submit invoices to customers via email

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

Able to follow oral and written instructions.

  • Good all-round experience with Microsoft office products with strong Excel skills
  • Experience in a similar manufacturing role is preferable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability.
  • Proactive and innovative.
  • To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • The ability to prioritise workload.
  • The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
