Job Description

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, providing tailored tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and strategies to optimise their tax position.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated services across the organisation.
  • Support clients during HMRC enquiries and audits, offering expert guidance and representation.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and building client relationships.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CTA) with a focus on tax expertise.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing client portfolios within the professional services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant tools.
