Job Description

The Interim Corporate Paralegal / Company Secretary Assistant will

  • Provide administrative support to the company secretarial team.
  • Maintain and update statutory records and company registers.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents and returns.
  • Coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Support the team with compliance-related tasks and processes.
  • Organise and maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects as directed by the legal department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Corporate Paralegal / Company Secretary Assistant should have:

  • A law degree
  • Ideally working towards a CGI qualification
  • Previous experience in an paralegal or company secretarial role within a legal department.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance procedures.
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and legal databases.
  • The ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
