Job Description

  • The candidate will mainly have experience of contentious construction law, with practical experience of the Pre-action Protocol for Construction and Engineering Disputes, TCC litigation, mediation, adjudication and ideally, arbitration
  • Manage and resolve complex construction disputes
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients in the construction sector
  • Prepare and review legal documents related to construction disputes
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in construction law
  • Promote the firm's services in the Professional Services industry

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Dispute Resolution Associate should have:

  • A degree in Law, with a focus on Construction Law
  • Qualified in England & Wales
  • Experience in managing and resolving construction disputes
  • Strong knowledge of construction law and industry practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Adept at preparing and reviewing complex legal documents
  • Experience in representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings
