Through the monitoring and analysis of data, the registry has enhanced patient outcomes and enables value for money healthcare improvements.Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of Communication & Stakeholder Engagement as the Communication Engagement Manager your key responsibilities will involve (but not be limited to):Media relations work collaboratively with key stakeholders to write press releases, provide statements and quotes as required.Thought leadership/case studies source relevant content and topics and liaise with media outlets and internal contributors.Meetings & Events plan, support and deliver a variety of meetings and events, from patient networks to larger-scale attendance at exhibitions. Ensuring all collateral and event communication is well-organised.Newsletters/publications source content, create and facilitate the production of newsletters and content for wider communication with stakeholders.Digital/Social ensure that agreed content is updated on all platforms, from website to social media channels.Reporting keep all stakeholders informed on communication programmes and agreed KPI's and metrics.The Successful ApplicantThe candidate that secures the Communication Engagement Manager position will bring the following skills & attributes:A proven track record in a communication and engagement role, ideally with some experience in the public or not-for-profit sectors.Demonstrable experience of producing written communication materials to a high standard, including news stories, press releases and digital content.Experience of planning and execution of online and in-person meetings & events.Has taken responsibility for managing and implementing end-to-end communication projects.Takes ownership and delivers all communication activities to the highest standard.Sound judgement to achieve optimum outcome, works collaboratively across complex subjects.Exemplary communication skills both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail.Strong relationship-builder and team player, with the ability to influence internally and externally at all levels.This is a homeworking role but requires occasional travel to meetings, mainly in London.What's on OfferThe Communications Engagement Manager role offers a salary of up to £40,000, depending on relevant experience, skills and knowledge, in addition to a range of benefits including:30 days annual leave + bank holidaysContributory pensionHome-working allowanceLife assuranceWellbeing support schemesHow to applyPlease submit your CV and a short supporting statement of not more than 600 words on how you fit the role.
