Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Legal Executive

As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Legal Executive you will work alongside a Senior Associate to undertake a broad mix of high quality clinical negligence work as well as support in the development and growth of the department through marketing & networking activities.Your duties will include:

- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence files, under supervision, dealing effectively with cases and transactions.

· Manage time recording, WIP monitoring and billing consistently, meeting targets and objectives set.

· Deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensuring full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations

· Research and draft articles and assist with the production of marketing materials.

· Begin to develop a network of clients, contacts and potential referrers and attend networking events

· Encourage juniors/ trainees, provide feedback to assist their learning, effectively delegating tasks where appropriate

· Understand, learn and apply all business processes applicable to own work learning new processes as required.

· Perform fee earning work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures [Lexcel].
