Job Description

  • The Lead C&I Technician is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, planning and delivery of maintenance activities, replacement and repair of the control and instrumentation equipment at the Glasgow site.
  • Assisting in the co-ordination and management of contracts and contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • The Lead C&I Technician will be responsible for supporting outage planning and management of site projects, whilst driving health and safety culture and ensuring the efficient running of the site
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
  • Oversee and execute system upgrades and improvements.
  • Manage budget for the C&I department.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and staff development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'C&I Lead Technician' should have:

  • Hold a position of Senior Authorised Person (SAP) or Prime Duty Holder (desirable) and experienced working on both LV & HV electrical systems.
  • Experience in C&I engineering of process industry or power plants would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance and work management Systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the industry.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
