In the UK, our client specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

Job Description

Data Analysts have a good grasp of the operational sectors to which they contribute, as well as a high level of expertise in data, statistical analysis methods and data visualization. They wield IT tools, techniques and statistical methods to efficiently organize, synthesize and translate data and extract meaningful, actionable information from it to facilitate decision processes, in accordance with operational requirements.

To this end, they:

* implement data consolidation dashboards

* provide analytical support for the exploration and complex analysis of data

* organize, summarize and translate information to facilitate decision-making for the sector

* manage operations and administration and ensure that existing databases function correctly and consistentlyTechnical/job-related skills

  • Good knowledge of analytical tools.
  • Proficiency in advanced statistical techniques.
  • Familiarity with the business and use cases.
  • Ability to combine data from multiple sources for analysis.
  • Database management (physical implementation of conceptual and logical data models, SQL joins and queries).
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data tools, such as R and Python.
  • Proficiency in data reporting and visualization tools, such as Power BI and Tableau.

The Successful Applicant

Excellent working knowledge of data analysis tools.

Ability to manage and prioritise stakeholder expectations at all levels ranging from end user up to C-level.

An ability to communicate complex technical issues to business users.

A collaborative approach to delivery working with various technical and business departments.

Be able to handle a high degree of multi-tasking.

Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills.

The ability to work with a minimal level of supervision and intervention.

What's on Offer

Full time contract of 12 months with the possibility to extend it.
