About Our Client

Our client is a forward-thinking provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, committed to supporting the transition to sustainable transportation. They specialise in delivering turnkey EV charging solutions for residential communities. As demand for home-based EV charging grows, we are seeking a strategic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead growth in this high-potential segment.

The BDM - EV Charging for Residential Apartments will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing relationships with apartment associations, real estate developers, facility managers, and property management companies. This role will require a mix of technical understanding, strategic selling, and relationship management to deploy EV charging stations across residential buildings.

Job Description



  • Market Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities with residential apartment complexes, housing associations, and property developers.


  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute targeted go-to-market strategies for EV charging solutions in the residential sector.


  • Client Engagement: Engage with apartment associations, resident welfare associations (RWAs), facility managers, and developers, local authorities to understand their needs and present tailored EV charging proposals.


  • Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with builders, property consultants, and facility management firms to generate qualified leads.


  • Proposal & Pitching: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and quotations that align with client requirements and regulatory needs.


  • Negotiation & Closure: Lead commercial negotiations, secure agreements, and coordinate the onboarding and installation process with internal teams.


  • Regulatory & Compliance: Stay informed on local EV charging regulations, government incentives, and utility requirements to guide clients accurately.


  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, track sales pipeline, and report on key metrics and market feedback.



The Successful Applicant



  • Experience in business development, preferably in EV Charging or selling to M&E consultants, Contractors and Housing Associations/Local authorities


  • Strong network or experience with housing associations, builders, or property management companies is highly desirable.


  • Familiarity with EV charging technologies, government incentives, and installation logistics.


  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.


  • Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and close deals independently.


  • Tech-savvy with experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Ability to travel and meet with customers as and when required
