Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Testing Analysis: Undertake a comprehensive end-to-end review of testing to ensure the quality and functionality of payment systems from inception to deployment.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, document IT & business testing requirements & process mapping for payment testing.
  • Process Analysis: Evaluate existing payment testing processes and tools to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Test Planning: Work with the respective IT & Business testing teams to enhance existing or develop new detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts that cover all aspects of the payment system life-cycle. Also ensuring that business processes, requirements and test cases are fully traceable end-to-end.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse data to support decision-making and identify trends, patterns, and insights related to payment transactions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including process mapping, business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides.
  • Project Management: Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of payment solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure that payment solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years of experience in testing within the banking payments sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies, as well as familiarity with payment systems and technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
