Job Description

  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare financial reports and balance sheets in a timely manner.
  • Assist with budget preparations and financial planning processes.
  • Use bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases to create and update records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and conduct internal audits for policy adherence.
  • Liaise with the finance team to improve financial procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
  • Participate in continuous training and development opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

  • A strong educational background in finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software, databases and financial spreadsheets. (Xero, Quickbooks, SAGE 50/Cloud)
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and present financial data.
  • Sound understanding of financial data confidentiality rules.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients.
