Job Description

  • Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of clients in the banking sector.
  • Lead a team of tax professionals, ensuring the delivery of top-quality tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client's business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide integrated financial solutions.
  • Participate in business development activities to generate new clients and revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and professional standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Banking Tax Assistant Manager' should have:

  • A degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • A qualification in tax such as CTA, ACA or ACCA
  • Extensive knowledge of tax legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in managing a team and leading projects.
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
