Job Description

  • Prepare cashbooks in multiple currencies, including Euros and Dollars.
  • Post cash receipts onto the financial system promptly.
  • Update stocking cashbooks for various divisions.
  • Carry out daily banking activities and maintain banking spreadsheets.
  • Reconcile ad hoc bank accounts.
  • Monitor and assist with the Finance inbox.
  • Support project and finance reconciliations.
  • Regularly update the unallocated cash items list.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and other ad hoc duties as required.
  • Support the Bank Reconciliation Supervisor with any additional requests.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the temporary Bank Reconciliation Administrator role will be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/AAT Level and above) with a solid understanding of reconciliations and prior cashbook experience. They will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professional conduct when interacting with colleagues across the business. Strong time management and organisational abilities are essential, along with a methodical approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, and able to manage conflicting priorities effectively. They should have a good understanding of the general ledger and reconciliations, and be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical, numerical, and evaluation skills are required, and experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and leasing is advantageous.
