Job Description

  • Leading and managing audits in accordance with firm methodology and standards.
  • Preparing and reviewing audit work papers and summaries of significant findings.
  • Communicating with clients about their financial and operational processes.
  • Mentoring and training junior team members.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
  • Proactively managing financial reporting and audit risks.
  • Managing client relationships and identifying opportunities for new business.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the company's strategy and policy making.
  • Potential to get involved with other aspects of the firm.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Senior should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or working towards a qualification.
  • Proven experience in an Auditing role.
  • Experience in leading Audits is preferable but not essential.
  • Strong technical auditing knowledge with proficiency in IFRS.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
