Job Description

  • Manage the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, particularly with Japanese-speaking clients.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members, fostering growth and development within the department.
  • Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy in financial disclosures.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and offering tailored advice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, encouraging professional development.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting and auditing standards, sharing insights with the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit & Accounts Manager (Japanese speaking) should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of audit processes and accounting standards.
  • Experience working within the professional services industry.
