Job Description

  • Assist in the planning and trading of the season across all channels to maximise sales and profit.
  • Analyse sales, stock, and forward order positions to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and regularly update WSSI.
  • Calculate accurate projections of sales and predict performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure the range meets the needs of the customer and drives sales.
  • Support the development and execution of promotional and product strategies.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Assistant Merchandiser' should have:

  • A degree in Business, Buying & Merchandising or analytics.
  • Previous experience in a retail allocation role.
  • Strong understanding of stock and inventory management.
  • Strong Excel user with the ability to use advanced tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
