Job Description

  • Overseeing daily accounting operations of multi-sites.
  • Assisting in budget preparation and financial planning processes
  • Participating in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling
  • Ensuring compliances with financial regulations and standards
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in driving the financial performance of this part of the business.
  • Preparing and consolidating detailed monthly management accounts
  • Helping in the production of the statutory accounts
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Financial Controller should have:

  • Qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) with some industry experience) this experience can be outside of retail
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements
  • Proven skills in financial and data analysis
  • Excellent leadership potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
