Job Description

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
  • Reviewing and preparing accounts and tax returns.
  • Contributing to the development of the firm's tax strategy.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities for business growth and improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Accounts & Tax Manager' should have:

  • A qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to speak with and advise clients.
  • Knowledge of current accounts and tax legislation.
  • Knowledge of CCH would be preferable, although not essential.
  • Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is required.
