Job Description
Accounts Payable Assistant responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of vendor management including invoice processing and payment.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in the monthly close process.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and classified correctly.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to improve processes and controls.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Support the Accounting & Finance Department with other duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
