Job Description

  • Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct audits for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements.
  • Provide support to junior team members, offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Handle client queries and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure timely completion of accounting and auditing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional professional services.
  • The role will be a split of circa 70% audit and 30% accounts work.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts and Audit Senior should have:

  • A relevant qualification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA or ACA.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting audits.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
