A full range of services aimed at such businesses, including Wealth Management.Job DescriptionManaging a diverse portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesMaintaining client relationships and serving as a primary point of contactManaging work in progress levels and handling client billingPreparing and reviewing accounts for various business structuresPreparing and reviewing tax computations and returns (personal, partnership, corporation)Special focus on farming accounts (desirable)Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities for clientsApplying knowledge of income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, VAT, and PAYESupervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of trainees and junior staffSupporting staff development and providing technical guidanceManaging workflow and allocating resources effectivelyMeeting deadlines and managing multiple prioritiesMaintaining high quality standards and attention to detailContributing to practice growth and developmentWorking flexibly during busy periods to ensure workflow continuityProficient use of accounting software (Sage, Quickbooks, Xero)Utilising practice management systems for time recording and billingStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and WordDelivering clear written and verbal communication to clientsProblem-solving for clients' financial and tax mattersBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsProviding proactive business advice beyond complianceThe Successful ApplicantACA/ACCA qualification or qualified by experience with at least two years at manager level gained in an accounting practiceExperience of preparation/review of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts, tax computations and personal and partnership tax returns.
