You'll work closely with both the finance team and operational stakeholders to ensure robust financial controls and efficient reporting processes.

As they continue to scale, the business are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join their existing finance team and support effective financial decision-making across the business.

Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and commentary on project performance and cost control.
  • Assist with job costing and WIP reporting.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate ledger management.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial oversight of contracts.
  • Support statutory reporting and year-end audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax and financial regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
