Our client's customers include agents, brokers, investors, regulators, educators and policyholders interested in measuring and managing insurance-related risks.Job DescriptionManagement and growth of existing accounts and development of new business opportunities within territoryPro-actively build clients relationships, retain, and grow existing territory accountsQualify and manage incoming new business leadsDemonstrating software/online products and servicesAccurately process orders to facilitate client licensingProvide support/training to clients as required to support renewal retention and build relationshipsDevelop and maintain SalesForce (CRM) and report on assigned territory including renewal and new business opportunity statusProvide management with reliable sales forecasts and informative reportingMonitor and report on competitor strategies in target markets and evaluate our client's relative positioning & profile within a target marketProvide support to management in all activities relating to the development of new business including marketing, pricing, prospecting, and salesThe Successful ApplicantOur client is looking for a consultative Account Manager, someone who enjoys and understands the importance of relationship building and who will confidently and competently be able to demonstrate to our client's customers their range of financial data product offerings predominantly linked to ratings and reports.Sales - software products, information products or data-relatedGood with numbers - the ability to calculate percentages etc.Experience selling or marketing services (ideally information, data, or software) to:Insurance (ideally London Market)Banking (ideally investment/capital) marketsAn understanding of, or the ability to understand, insurance financial dataDemonstrable ability to open and close sales opportunitiesEntrepreneurialBoth strategically & commercially mindedAbility to build external relationshipsStrong analytical and research skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision but knows 'when to ask' and acts as part of a teamGood IT skills/knowledge including CRM usage.
