Our client are seeking a talented Account Manager to maximise online business opportunities. Working closely with the in-house digital team, the account manager will be responsible for engaging with customers and maximising sales opportunities for their e-commerce business.

Job Description

For The Account Manager - E-commerce business role, responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement strategic e-commerce plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Taking ownership for platforms including Shopify website, Amazon, and Ebay - reporting on sales targets.
  • Following up with trade customers, and maximising new business opportunities.
  • Manage online product and category pages with an emphasis on customer experience.
  • Analyse data to monitor website performance and customer engagement, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate with IT department to ensure website functionality and performance.
  • Oversee and manage company's overall e-commerce presence.
  • Work closely with digital marketing team to drive traffic to website.
  • Being involved with key customers and sales journey's where necessary.

The Successful Applicant

For the Account Manager - E-commerce business business role, candidates should have:

* 2+ years experience in sales led account management positions
* Confident communication skills, comfortable being customer facing.
* Ideally experience working for an e-commerce business.
* Familiarity with seller channels such as Amazon seller central.
* Familiarity with channels including Shopify, Amazon, and Ebay.
* Willingness to attend customer and trade events where necessary.
* Ideally B2B - trade product experience - not essential.
* A hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
