Job Description

  • Financial analysis of savings programmes
  • Costing savings proposals
  • Supporting tracking of savings against run rates.
  • Ensure financial compliance and risk management
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and budgets
  • Provide comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders
  • Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements
  • Collaborate with other department heads to achieve organisational goals
  • Manage financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the organisation's leaders

The Successful Applicant

A successful 8A Senior Finance Manager should have:

  • Efficiency programmes, costing and financial analysis.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
  • Previous experince working within the NHS.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
  • Proficiency in financial software
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
