Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial forecasts, budgets, and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements to drive profitability.
  • Manage and report on product costing, pricing, and margin analysis.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist in financial audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process optimisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience within the accounting and finance sector, ideally in FMCG.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and financial accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
