I have happily worked for Saica Pack for over 3yrs as the Field Sales Manager for the North West region. I joined after working in all aspects of management within the Automotive industry, for over 10yrs. I have found working in sales for a very large growing multinational paper and packaging company very enjoyable and rewarding.
When starting my Apprenticeship here at Saica I had no knowledge or recollection of what goes into making corrugated packaging, but with the help of a highly skilled and experienced Design team I have developed into a fully-fledged Structural Designer and was lucky enough to be offered the job after further completing my Apprenticeship. No two days are the same here at Saica and every Design is different which keeps things interesting. It is very demanding and fast paced but has all been worth it as I am now the Design lead on some key accounts and continue to learn the business and grow my knowledge.
I have worked at Saica now for 11 years and enjoy the daily challenges that the job gives me. No two days are the same and I deal with all aspects to do with my customers, from problem solving and giving the customer any support they need regarding any queries/challenges that may arise. Saica is a friendly company to work for and I have dealings with all departments as well as other sites within in the business.
