Job Description

  • The new NAM will take on full P&L responsibility for the Grocery multiples, building the business from scratch by developing and nurturing relationships with UK Grocery multiples to gain listings of products.
  • As well as this they will grow profitable sales of all listings to ensure business continuity.
  • Whilst developing deeper customer relationships and securing with appropriate JBP's.
  • Identify key personnel and build relationships within the Grocery multiples confectionary teams.
  • Build selling stories specific to each retailer and range, using tenacity to get in front of buyers.
  • Once listings are secured, ensure all associated admin is completed with the supply chain and office team, bearing in mind that we are a small and rapidly growing business, so each team member multi tasks to achieve our results.
  • Manage the P&L of the Grocery channel, making suitable investment decisions in collaboration with the UK country manager.



The Successful Applicant

A successful National Account Manager (NAM) - Grocery will have:

● Proven FMCG food experience in a similar position, ideally with experience selling challenger brands.

● Solid experience working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

● Developing customer strategies to drive new listings, activation and distribution within Grocery multiples

● Demonstrable negotiation skills and ability to deliver a successful joint business plan

● Evidence of building and successfully managing P&L's

● Strong commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset
