Job Description

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support policy objectives.
  • Monitor and assess external developments impacting organisational strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align external affairs activities with policy goals.
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, and correspondence for senior leaders.
  • Support the execution of external engagement plans, including events and consultations.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and communication across all external channels.
  • Analyse feedback from stakeholders to inform policy development.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the organisation's external presence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful External Affairs Associate should have:

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement or external affairs within the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of policy development and its impact on external relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex information effectively.
