Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsOperational Risk Management contract role 6 monthsDay rate 600-650 per day PAYEAbout Our ClientInvestment and Corporate international bank, who need to hire a Operational Risk 2nd Line Risk Contractor immediately.Job DescriptionThe Operational Risk 2nd Line Risk Contractor will:Work closely with the Director in London, implementing the Operational Risk Management framework for the bank's operations in London.Conduct independent analysis and challenge the outcome of Operational Risk Management tools.Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Scenario Analysis, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and New Initiative Risk Assessment (NIRA's).Review and challenge Operational Risk Events (loss, gains and near miss incidents) as reported by the business lines and Corporate Function groups.Provide oversight, review, and challenge for Risk Acceptances .Support the Director, Global Operational Risk, in the review, assessment and enhancement of the Bank's operational risk management tools and methodologies.Support VP Operational Risk to share best practice in relation to the Operational Risk Management Framework from a regional perspective.The Successful ApplicantA successful Operational Risk 2nd Line Risk Contractor should have:At least 5 years experience and knowledge of 2nd line operational risk management and frameworks within the banking and financial services sector.Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks.RCSAs, KRIs, Scenario testing and analysis.Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to risk management.Investment Banking , Corporate banking experience would be ideal.Experience to Operational Resilience from the 2nd line also useful.What's on OfferCompetitive daily rate of approximately £600-£650 PAYEThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operational Risk 2nd Line Risk Contractor to make a meaningful impact.
