Job Description

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts for review by senior stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to optimise profitability.
  • Oversee budget preparation and track variances to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Support cash flow management and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data is captured.
  • Assist with year-end reporting and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

The Successful Applicant

Management Accountant...

  • Immediately available or on short notice
  • Happy for an office based role - Based in Amersham
  • Strong team player
  • Independent and proactive
  • Prior experience in a management accounts role
  • Quick learner, self sufficient
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
