Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements with accuracy.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to manage cost efficiencies effectively.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate funding for operations.
  • Assist in strategic planning by providing financial modelling and analysis.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in management accounting within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
