Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities for the Accounting & Finance team.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting processes to meet organisational needs.
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary to assist decision-making.
  • Assist with cost analysis and control, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and insights.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Support ad hoc financial projects as required by management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or equivalent.
  • Background in management accounting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • The ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • IT: SAP (Desirable)
