Job Description

  • Lead and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to the Managing Director.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and full compliance with statutory and accounting standards.
  • Oversee statutory audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to enhance profitability, cost control, and efficiency.
  • Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Manage capital expenditure planning and explore appropriate funding options.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and leverage technology for enhanced reporting.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, business expansion, and investment appraisals.
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive, and compliant workplace in line with company policies and values.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong expertise in financial management and strategic planning
  • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to align financial strategy to business objectives
  • Demonstrated success in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Solid understanding of risk management and corporate governance principles
  • Effective leadership and team development skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) essential
